These General Terms and Conditions of Service ("Terms") govern the access to and use of the web platform My Hotel Board ("Service"), a digital notice board and guest guide application dedicated to hospitality accommodations (such as hotels, B&Bs, and vacation rentals) and their guests.
By accessing or using the Service, the user (whether the accommodation property manager, hereinafter "Administrator" or "Property", or the final guest, hereinafter "Guest") agrees to be bound by these Terms.
My Hotel Board provides an interactive digital notice board that allows Properties to enter, edit, and display useful stay-related information to their Guests, including (but not limited to): WiFi credentials, meal schedules and details, nearby restaurant recommendations, interactive maps, and local weather forecasts.
Guest Access: Guests access the board using a unique identification code ("Hotel Code") provided by the Property, which can also be accessed via a QR Code or a direct URL link.
Administrator Access: Modifying information is strictly reserved for the Property's Administrator via a dedicated security code ("Admin Code").
Responsibility: The Administrator is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their Admin Code and for all activities that occur under their dashboard. My Hotel Board shall not be held liable for any unauthorized access resulting from negligence in safeguarding these credentials.
Access to the Service and the validity of the Hotel Code may be subject to time limitations. Upon expiration of the agreed period or subscription term, access to both the editing modal and the guest view page will be automatically deactivated unless the service is renewed according to current rates.
The Property is solely responsible for the truthfulness, accuracy, and legality of all data uploaded to the platform (including logos, guest notes, addresses, geographic coordinates, and external links).
My Hotel Board disclaims all liability for any inconveniences, incorrect information, or outdated details provided by the Property to its Guests (e.g., incorrect WiFi passwords, un-updated check-out times).
The platform integrates third-party services (such as Leaflet/OpenStreetMap for mapping and Weatherwidget.io for weather forecasts). My Hotel Board is not responsible for the precision, data accuracy, or continuous availability of these external third-party widgets.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. My Hotel Board does not guarantee that the service will be entirely free from temporary interruptions, bugs, or data loss caused by malfunctions of the hosting cloud servers (e.g., Firebase Firestore).
In no event shall My Hotel Board be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including damage to reputation or financial losses incurred by the Properties) arising out of the use or inability to use the platform.
The source code, user interface design, the "My Hotel Board" trademark, and the original texts of the platform are the exclusive property of the platform owner. Trademarks, logos, and specific textual content uploaded by individual Properties remain the property of their respective owners, who grant My Hotel Board a free, limited license to display such content solely for the purpose of rendering the digital board.
The use of the platform is governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, accessible via the links in the footer. The Property agrees not to input any sensitive personal data of the Guests within the open text fields, limiting usage to general logistical information regarding the stay.
My Hotel Board reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will become effective immediately upon being posted on the website. Continued use of the platform following the publication of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy. Any dispute arising from the interpretation, execution, or termination of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts where the owner of My Hotel Board has its legal registered office.
